Many years ago, I saw a report in which bi-valves were placed in a dark
tank of sea water away from their normal environment.  The study showed 
that they still had a response to the moon's phases.  I am currently 
studying astronomy with a professor who claims that the moon has no affect
on human behavior.  However, in speaking to police officers, they tell me
that crime is higher during a full moon.  Who is correct?  Thanks
