MadSci Network: Zoology |
Hi John:
I did a quick web search, and had a peek in my audubon guide to reptiles, but I couldn't find a reference to any lizards with only two legs. I did, however, find out that some salamanders can have very reduced rear appendages, thus giving the impression of having only two legs. You can read up on that here . The siren salamander is an amphibian rather than a reptile, but it has two rather small arms and no legs with a long tail; here is an article on lesser siren salamanders and a photo
Hope that helps!
