I have been looking for the answer to this question for some time. Basically it seems to me that the smoother surface of a waxed vehichle should exhibit less aerodynamic resistance and therefore should get somewhat better mileage theoretically. Is the difference significant enough to be measurable and if so approximately how much better? Or if this is too long a question where might I find information or research about this question? Really hope someone can help. Thanks so much whatever help you can offer.
