Dear Jim,

I went to my duck hunter friends, also biology teachers, and they believe in the clean air theory. The "v" formation cuts wind as a NASCAR race car drafts another car. This works for Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon so maybe it will work for ducks and geese. It does make sense doesn't it. I don't know of any new research.
