I read that the mitrochondria contains genes and sometimes certain
diseases arise from the mitrochondria. This information was read in
the government booklet entitled "Cloning Human Beings".  Unfortunately,  the author did not elaborate. I would like to know
what genes are contained in the mitrochondria and what diseases
could arise from them.
