In looking at photos of school students taken in the 1940's and earlier it is
really noticeable that the students have much bigger ears than students of later
decades. Their ears also seem to stick out a lot more. Evidence of this can also
be seen in the ear size of people over 70.
Is the cause of this genetic or environmental? I'd be very interested in your
answer. Thank you.
