I am studying the Giant Green Anemone (Anthoplura xanthogrammica) 
and the Aggregating Anemone (Anthoplura elegantissima) that are 
found along the Monterey and Half Moon Bay Coasts. I am trying to 
determine, by observation and research, what the environmental 
and/or physiological factors that influence whether or not the 
anemone remains open or closed.
