Do raccoons kill and eat pets?
I know raccoons may fight with the cats in our yard over the cat food
we leave out.  I also know they will kill chickens and eat them.
Another site said they also eat small mammals but didn't specify what
they meant by "small mammals."

Will raccoons actually seek to kill cats or dogs to eat or are they
limited to smaller prey such as mice, rats, gophers, etc?
