As a Paramedic I use Nitroglycerin in heart patients to Vasodialate
the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. This ability
was discoverd many many years ago by miners working with Dynamite.

However my form of nitro is non-explosive versus the nitro found in
dynamite. What is the DIFFERENCE between the TWO versions?

Added:

Also how does Nitroglycerin cause Vasodilation. Does it inhibit
the nerve receptors or what?
