Dear Carol,

Yes, starfish do have eyes. They have a small "eyespot" at the end of each arm which senses light, but is not sophisticated enough to allow them to see images as we do with our eye. Starfish use their tube feet, as well as sensitive tentacles found at the end of each arm, to navigate their way along the bottom of the ocean.
