MadSci Network: Botany |
My first grade class is learning about life cycles, starting with those of plants. We understand that the part of a plant that contains the seeds is the fruit. We did an exploration of many fruits (i.e.:cucumbers, tomatoes, apples, melons, beans, kiwi, etc.) to find seeds, but couldn't find seeds in a pineapple, as expected. Can you give us any information to help solve this mystery? Thanks, Barbara Lehn
