I am a chemistry teacher and this question comes up every year.
Can you disable a car by dissolving sugar in the gasoline? I
cannot think of a valid reason reason why it should work, unless
you add so much that the vapor pressure of the fuel is
significantly decreased. Seems like an awful lot of sugar.
