Does our circadian cycle (sleep/awake cycle) provide evidence we
originated elsewhere? Studies show humans fall into a greater than 24
circadian cycle if placed in an environment with no time cues. The earth’s
rotation is slowing down so it rotated much faster in the past. Any animal
that evolved on this planet evolved during a time when days were 24 hours
or less. If we evolved here wouldn’t it make sense that our natural cycle
be 24 hours or less not greater than 24 hours? If tests have been done on
other animals, especially primates, do they also fall into a greater than
24 circadian cycle or are they less?
