Subject: will salt affect the growth of plants

Hey well, This is the second time and last time i ask you guys a question. 
I am sorry for bothering you again but you didnt really help me and i did 
your search but it didnt really help me. My question is will salt affect 
the growth of plants. I want to do an experiment by planting some seeds in 
pot a  and  pot b.  Then in plant b i will have salt. I will make sure 
that they get the same amount of water, sunlight, and fertiliers.  I would 
really be grateful if you are a little more specific then last time. Last 
time you just told me to look at your search. But thankyou for you help
