A chemistry lab designed for finding out the specific heat of metals
involves heating zinc in a water bath then transfering the heated metal
into a calorometer which contains water at room temperature. The zinc can
be dried and reused for future labs, but after awhile the zinc becomes
corroted. Thus a method for cleaning the zinc would be most helpful.
