There must be some reason why some cells 'opt out' of the cell cycle. I believe 
that the G0 phase is significant but there is very little written information 
available I have tried periodicals, scouring the 'net' and spent many hours in 
the College library.
I could be wrong, but in this case and for the moment I think that less is 
definately more. please could you find me some infomation that states wether 
'cells in the G0 phase of the mitotic  cell cycle do nothing and do not 
contribute to the cycle, as a whole'
