We have a project where we have no backround info and have to find out why a certain liquid(maybe mixture)turns blue when shaken and what this substance is. I have figured out that this liquid uses oxygen to turn blue. I have also found the liquid turns back to clear 10-15 seconds after shaking. It makes a high piched sound when it is not shaken and then tapped. After being shaken it makes a low sound. It also seems to have small bubbles rising on the sides after being shaken and they mostly are gone when it turns clear. Please help me in finding eather the name of this chemical happening or what this liquid.
Re: What liquid uses oxygen to turn blue? What is the name of this process?
