Our Junior ROTC drill instructor is always cautioning the students not to
lock their knees when they stand at attention. Can you explain the
specifics of how this leads to passing out? Is there a particular blood
vessel or nerve that gets pressure from the knee cap? I've tried
searching the web and your archives for an answer, but I haven't been
successful. Thank you for considering my question!
