I always thought that the reason that a bicycle balanced was because of the
gyro effect of the large wheels. That is why it is impossible to balance on
a motionless bike. Then why is it that I can balance on my Laser Scooter
easier when there is forward motion than standing still when there is very
little gyro effect from the tiny wheels.
