Can you tell me why, in Flemings right hand rule for generators
(and left hand rule for motors), why does the resultant Current (middle
finger) travel at right angles to ALL the other Newtonian forces in the
mechanical system(Flux North to South:Index, conductor path: Thumb.)This
rule is fact, but the REASON it is true seems to have escaped even the
best of my resources. Please feel free to admit that you don`t know for
sure. I have a gut feeling that no one knows for SURE or maybe it falls
into the domain of quantum mechanics or conservation of angular momentum on
an atomic scale but the resultant current travels perpendicular to flux
lines AND conductor movement. Why? And why in only that direction?
