For example, if the hydrogens are replaced by heavy hydrogen - the isotope called hydrogen-2 or deuterium - the resulting heavy water behaves in some respects like a different molecule altogether. Is the above statement true? I always think that all isotop of hydrogen is has the same properties except thw mass until I read this passage(link is below).
