One siemens (S) is one reciprocal ohm; it is a unit of conductance or
reciprocal resistance. A siemens was formerly called a mho. The unit of
conductivity, g, may be written as siemens/meter. 1 ohm-meter = 1 volt-
meter / 1 ampere. An algebraic manipulation leads to: g * ohm^2 = ohm /
meter.
