I want candles that are purely paraffin wax and stearic acid candles. The candes I have seen just say the scent and color.

Re: How can you tell the difference of a paraffin wax and stearic acid candle? Hi - Contacting the manufacturer might be the easiest way to find out -- you should be able to locate a website or customer service number on the packaging that came with the candle. Otherwise, the melting points of paraffin (~50°C for many paraffins, though check what kind it is as the temperature can vary) vs ~70°C for stearic acid.
