Hi. I have a deep brown / auburn hair color. My father has dark brown hair, while my mother's hair is strawberry blonde. When I go out in the sun, my hair appears as a bright orangish-red, but inside my hair appears as a dark brownish-auburn color. Why is this? And could it be that my parents' hair color genes fused together and created an auburn?
