I was just wonderin about studying a gay twin who happen to have the same exact genetic make up. if u make a clone a gay person wouldn't his clone has the exact same gene? if that person's clone grew up to by a homosexual that would prove that gay is not genetically inhereted.

Re: have u guys tried clone study for gay gene? Greetings - Yes, twin studies can be used to determine if homosexuality has a genetic component. Check the following answered posts: http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/aug97/862927470.Ge.r.html we cannot at this time make human clones and most scientists would agree that it would be unethical to clone humans as experimental objects of this sort. human clones: http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/1999-02/918310711.Ge.r.html http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2001-04/987448382.Ge.r.html http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/aug97/865116400.Ge.r.html Please try our search engine to locate files: http://www.madsci.org/MS_search.html Sanjida Rangwala, Moderator MadSci Network _______________________________________________________________ I was just wonderin about studying a gay twin who happen to have the same exact genetic make up. if u make a clone a gay person wouldn't his clone has the exact same gene? if that person's clone grew up to by a homosexual that would prove that gay is not genetically inhereted. ________________________________________________________________ MadSci Network http://www.madsci.org/ webadmin@madsci.org
