Please explain how cholestrol look like and feel like. Is it like mucous? or
hardened fat. From the cholestrol forming food can we isolate the stuff? Does
it make a physical block in the blood vessels or inhibit the blood flow in
some other way?

Re: What is the physical nature of cholestrol?

Hi George -

Your question can be answered by searching one of the free
search engines on the WWW. We recommend the following sites:

Google: http://www.google.com/
Yahooligans (Webguide for Kids): http://www.yahooligans.com/
Wikipedia (Free encyclopedia): http://en.wikipedia.org/

Try a search on Wikipedia for cholesterol

You can also locate basic characteristics of pure cholesterol in a "Merck
Index" which should be available in most university libraries, at a large
public library or through inter-library loan.
Sincerely,

	Lynn Bry, Moderator MadSci Network
