Foot fungus is caused by excessive moisture in shoes and socks. This is the perfect environment for fungus to grow--where it is warm and moist.

Althete's foot is caused by a fungus and its symptoms include dry scaly skin, itching, inflammation, and blisters. You can find out more about athlete's foot at these url's:
