I don't think that my boss here at MadSci Network would appreciate 
my giving out any bomb formulas considering recent events in Colorado.

A safe and easy way to introduce smoke into a area is to use a beekeeper's 
smoker. This is simple hand held device used to produce dense clouds of 
billowing smoke to neutralize the bees when servicing the hive or harvesting 
honey. 

You live in a large enough town that you should be able to find what you need 
in the Yellow Pages.
