The mouse was invented by one of the resident geniuses of computer science: one Doug Engelbart. Although many people mistakenly think the mouse was invented at Xerox PARC, the truth is that the mouse is just one of the many inventions that came out of Doug Engelbart's lab at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) and became an integral part of our lives.
