The latest, and maybe most perplexing concept to come
out of the Santa Fe Institute is something I've heard
of referred to as "The Physics of Information." As best
as I can gather, they envision information as a physical
force, with physical qualities that can be expressed
mathematically. Can anybody offer a brief, non-technical
explanation of what this is all about?
