What are the steps and materials needed to build a pocket calculator?

I have searched all of my libraries and other sources for such information,
but my search proved to be fruitless. There is no information that I know
of that states all the steps to building a standard pocket sized calculator.
I have disassembled a calculator, so I know that LEDs, input pads,
battery, and batteryhouse are needed, but what else? I would appreciate
it if you responded more quickly than you normally would.
