Subject: What are some new practical applications of electrolysis?

To whom it may concern,
   Hi!  My name is Rakesh Patel and I am a senior at Quince Orchard 
High School.  For my AP Chemistry class, my group and I have to try 
and find some practical applications for electrolysis (not including 
hair removal) and we were wondering if you could give us a hand.  We 
are also interested in the theory of electrolysis and how it works. We 
will be very greatful for any information that you might be able to 
give us.
