Dear User,

Your science project is certainly interesting, and can even lead to certain
serious discoveries. Though I am not a professional mycologist, I have
worked with antibiotics and antibiotic substances for a while, and can
provide you with some help if contacted directly, with the following
information :
a) what is the systematic name of the fungus (or fungi) which you are
planning to use ?
b) what procedures of extraction are you going to attempt
c) what kind of sterile environment can you create (you would have to be
very careful not to contaminate your cultures and samples).

My email is : nf9501@ferret.weizmann.ac.il , feel free to enquire.

(I would normally be adding a list of references, but this subject is hard
to research w/o knowing the systematic name of the fungi, and I am not a
mycologist).

A.G.E.
