I've gotten to known that a certain heat shock protein of E.Coli
functions as an intergrity increasing factor when exposed to
stress in form of heat. And that it would then produce a form of
lattice to provide the cell with more integrity and stability.
First of all I'd like to know if such a heat shock proteins
REALLY exists, what its classifcation and name is and where I can
find maybe a picture of it?

Thank you,

Sven Nottebaum
