I have been researching the use of a 3 phase motor in an area
where only 2 phase power (220) is available. Have heard about
static convertors and motor/generator sets. In this age of
electronics I assume there has to be a better way. If not, then
what are the advantages and disadvantages of static convertors
and motor/generator convertors? I didn't find anything in your
archives and I haven't been able to turn up much of anything
useful on the web. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
