During a recent stay at the hospital, I was put on an IV instead 
of having regular food, or anything to drink.  It was 5% 
dextrose and sodium, but I never felt hungry or thirsty.  Is it 
possible for a human to survive a long time on this diet, and 
still get the nutrients they need?
