We on the West Coast are subject to prevailing winds from the
Pacific during most of the year. This is particularly true in
San Franciso, where during the spring and summer you sometimes
need to be nailed down. Anecdotal evidence suggests that the
winds have been much worse this year then in past years. Does
meterological data support this? Is it a function of El Nino/La
Nina?
