I have never heard of
bioluminescence in spiders, although it would not
suprise me if the tetragnathids in the genus
Leucauge were bioluminescent
as they almost seem to glow in their webs. However, there is no mention of
this in Foelix (Biology of Spiders, 2nd ed. 1996) and so it would have to
be a recent discovery.
