That is an interesting concept.  In general, smoke is a mixture of gasses 
and particles.  Ozone being a very reactive molecule, is utilized to 
deodorize air or purify water through reaction with contaminants.   

I wouldn't expect that one could carry a charge large enough to repel a 
significant amount of smoke. I wouldn't advise disproving this theory 
either, as it would be dangerous.  In fact, by carrying a charge you would 
most likely attract molecules.
