Subject: Sleep patterns of alligators and scorpions

My two 7 year old twins have chosen the two most difficult animals to 
research.In their French programme they were asked to find the manner 
in which these animals sleep.We know they are nocturnal but little else.
I have spent hours on the net and in the library. Please see what you can
find. Thank-you.
