For a 8x8 image block JPEG compression.  It can be using a 2-D Discrete 
Cosine Transform.  That equation can be converted into two 1-D DCT 
equations.  But what are the formulae for the 2-D inverse DCT and thw two 
1-D DCT for the decompression?
