Subject: Enough power for us all

Greetings,
We all know that movement can be furthur manipulated to create energy,so
if we are revolving around the sun,in turn which revolves around our system and 
so on etc.
what is the potential energy available on a universal scale,and could we benifit
from the energy within these natural occurances.
(The moon is the generator for tidal power)
could we not develop applications to tap into this generous source.
