If wa take nerd to be deifined as a "smart, yet socially awkward" being, were
there nerds in early human history. If the human race, advanced by being more
intelligent, then where does the nerd fit in? Wouldn't someone like the
stereotypical nerd, skinny, unathletic and socially awkward have died out early
on? I mean, if the above is true, I shouldn't be here. (;
