Colleague at a field centre regularly sees crayfish from their pond/ canal on
the path, one was recently spotted in the nearby road! Children often ask why.
We know that Autumn is breeding time - is it to find a mate? To find new
territory/ to search for hibernation space? I've tried searching on the web
using loads of different criteria & can't get an answer!
