I would like to compare a healthy well-fed Neanderthal to a healthy well-fed modern human. Also, I have read that in the West, the average size of people has increased over several generations because of diet. Imagene that the Neanderthal in question had several well-fed healthy generations preceding him or her . Would this hypothetical Neanderthal be able to walk off the street and lift more than a trained Olympic weightlifter. Would such a Neanderthal male be sronger than the average NFL player? Would an average, heathly, well-fed Neanderthal woman be stronger than the average modern human male?
