I have a cat known as a ragdoll who as kitten use to purr but then was hurt by 
a vet who was trying to give him a bath...does not purr???is this normal??? My 
cat fetches like a dog and walkes on a leash but he does not ever purr...He is 
vey loving to me... but he bites my husband alot.. I can pick him up and hold 
him in my arms and swing him around in my rms and he oves it but he does'nt 
tolerate my husband. He sleeps next to me..He has only once or twice been 
hostile to me.
