We recently had an inversion where I live (we live in a valley). After going
inside for a few hours, we came out to find that it was lightly snowing. I told
my parents that it could be an occluded front, but my dad argued that a whole
new front would have to blow in, therefore ending the storm. Can you please
settle this debate? My father and I would like to know.
