I'm trying to determine if one can work backward to create a designer protein. If you know the shape of a molecule you are trying to deliver somewhere, for example, can you model a protein that will have the correct shape to carry it? Then, once you know the shape you want, can you determine the amino acid sequence you would need to allow for the correct tertiary and quaternary structure?
