MadSci Network: Botany |
I am doing a science project on the effects of phototropism and am having a hard time trying to connect it to the real world. I realize if the light only hits a plant from one side it will grow there, but i cant find anytime that that would happen because the Sun moves and as does its light. the only connection i can think of is in a rain forest, but i thought that phototropism only occurs when there is direct contact with light. i'm lost, can you help?
Re: If there is no direct contact with light, does phototropism still occur?
