MadSci Network: Environment & Ecology |
I'm an English major right now, and two months ago I decided that teaching, which was then my career goal, was not going to be for me. So I've been going back to thinking about what I want to do and what I could do with the subjects I'm interested in, such as biology, the environment, ecology, history, and, of course, language. I really want to work with something related to the environment, but from a writing/"English-y" job. Are there jobs out there in environmental science/ecology/biology/conservation that require a strong background in language rather than science?
